Sandro Boeri - Managing Director, Training

Sandro Boeri is one of the founders of Risk Audit with a career spanning thirty years in financial services corporate governance in the City of London and internationally.

His main area of specialism is in the field of internal audit where after serving his apprenticeship during six years at Kleinwort Benson he went on run the audit functions at Amsterdam-Rotterdam Bank in London, Credit Agricole, Sumitomo and the Gerrard Group.

Sandro has also led the compliance functions of Credit Agricole and Sumitomo as well as running the operations function of Credit Agricole Futures.

Sandro is a prominent speaker on subjects ranging from corporate governance to motivation in the workplace. He has led major sessions for the Institute of Internal Auditors, IIR as well as Risk Audit itself.

He started Risk Audit’s professional development business from scratch nine years and is now responsible for managing the public classroom schedule as well as continuing to facilitate a wide range of courses specialising on regulatory themes.

Sandro is currently building the new web-based training platform for the company and leading Risk Audit’s life coaching and mentoring business.

As well as acting as a non-executive director of Risk Audit’s recruitment company, Sandro is a passionate Chelsea fan.

If one was to define Sandro’s abiding motivating force it revolves around ensuring that whatever he gets involved in adds some value. This applies to financial services corporate governance existing to preventing a repeat of the credit crunch as well as Chelsea winning every tournament they play in.
