Becoming a Powerful Person in Meetings and the Networking Area

This two-day event will explore the concept of are “Powerful People” born or are they made. With the Audit, Risk and Compliance environment rapidly changing professionals are being asked to join the process at various and earlier stages and hence must now act more as a consultant and less of the “dust them off number cruncher”. Professionals in the audit function do have a stereotype barrier that they must break in order to gain respect and this will be done through their own actions and conduct. Participants must engage with confidence at optimum performance in meetings and networking and embrace the skills required to make a great negotiator and leader.

Delegates will be taken on a journey through this process by visiting the various touch points and skills needed to be successful in information gathering, hosting and controlling meetings, building relationships through to developing an audit report that will ‘get results’. Power People gain respect by the confidence that they delivery through their own clear understanding of their own objectives and goals. Building ones self is the first step to being a powerful person and this course will allow delegates to explore their own personal style. It will also ensure active learning through groups, practical exercise and real life scenarios. All learning will be underpinned by utilising the proven power of a NLP, Emotional Intelligence, preparation, and the power of positive and conscience thinking.

This event will be facilitated by Dale Smith (please refer to our Speaker page for more details).
